‘We visited Amsterdam with friends in April 2022 and had a most wonderful trip! Wies did her part in helping make it a success by arranging a morning walking tour for us of the National Holocaust Memorial and nearby area before visiting the Anne Frank House. The walking tour was thoughtful and well-planned, and Wies was most informative. But what we most appreciated was just being with her for the morning. It was a pleasant stroll with an old friend that we had only just met. It doesn’t get much better than that! Wies came highly recommended to us by a very good local tour company and we couldn’t have been more pleased. She was attentive to all our needs and interests. She speaks English beautifully. And she knows Amsterdam so well. We will definitely contact her whenever we find ourselves in Amsterdam again.

What we have had a nice walk with you Jordan,,nl,You led us along the courtyards and there was also time for personal stories and songs ....,,nl. De hele familie was enthousiast, gepassioneerd vertel je over de geschiedenis, leidde je ons langs de hofjes en was er ook tijd voor eigen verhalen en....liedjes;) Om met een Bargoens gezegde te eindigen: until the plum season!
We have a number of colleagues from South Africa Italy Germany and Britain conducted did a walking tour of Wieske . Een top georganiseerde wandeling met Wieske in grote vorm!! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to do a walk with someone with a great knowledge , een heel groot compliment waard.

Met een groepje ex collega’s hebben wij de stadswandeling gemaakt op en rond de wallen. Dit was een heerlijke middag met heel veel uitleg over hoe het vroeger er in Amsterdam aan toe ging. Ik ben een rasechte Amsterdammer, maar de gids wist me zoveel te vertellen wat ik nog niet wist. Een echte aanrader!!

We hebben een super leuke, gezellige rondleiding gekregen met leuke anekdotes. Wieske – je doet het met heel je hart en liefde. dat is goed te voelen. Iedereen uit de groep kon je goed volgen, ondanks, dat niet alle Nederlands waren. Ook zonder vertaling was het goed te begrijpen, wat aan jouw goede en duidelijke toelichting te danken was. En je hebt een superleuke locatie voor de lunch voor onze groep gekozen. Kortom, alles perfect.
Hartelijk bedankt en als we weer eens naar Amsterdam komen, gaan we graag nog een andere tour met je doen!

During my weekly shopping bikeride to the supermarket, I always come across Amsterdam School house blocks, looking at it every time. After having done Wieske's Spaarndammer Area walk, I look at it in another way and now, knowing more of the architectural background, I always discover something new!
